I have been waiting for my Big Bend 2dr. I ordered it October 2020 and received a VIN and build week of 4/10/2023. I did all the right stuff: worried about every option, stressed over color, talked my wife into a 2 door. Went to reveals, driving experiences, Bronco Off-Rodeo. I have a flag, a hat, a hammock, a 3D map, and playing cards
So now that I know it is really coming I came across a few blog posts here that I am hoping have been taken care of?
1. Wipers having a mind of their own
2. No heat in the driver footwell

Can it really be true? I'm just a simple retired teacher that enjoys those things

Ha. Well, I have the Lux on my Badlands, but as for the wipers, I either donā€™t have or havenā€™t found an auto function, so itā€™s the old fashioned way, twist to turn on and there are several variations, so fiddling with it is what I have to do. Once turned on, there is some sort of sensing that happens; this is very minor for me, but the wiper do work just fine.

As for heat, think there arenā€™t vents in the backseat area, but seems warm in the footwell to me. I always use Auto for heat and AC and keep the compressor on to prevent fogging; feels just fine to me.

The seat warmers are extra toasty so even if the heat werenā€™t blowing hard, those would do the trick. Heat is pretty strong overall.

Iā€™m used to the luxury car experience with these things, but donā€™t think thereā€™s a serious drop off with the Bronco, beyond what should be expected.

If someone really wants/needs a Highlander, then get it. An off-roader should only be so comfortable and convenient. Ford tried hard and pulled off a lot of balance with these trucks.

Glad to hear you got the 2 Dr as well! Cheers! šŸ»

A forum such as this tends to severely skew our view of reality.

Every other thread here may be a complaint, but for every thread, there are 10,000 Broncos that have had zero issues ... but NOBODY ever searches out a forum just to stop in and say,
"Hi B6G, just stopped by to let you know I've had my Bronco for 18 months with ZERO issues."

Iā€™ve got about 20k miles on mine and live in Florida where the rain comes down like you are driving through a waterfall and havenā€™t had any issues with my wipers. As for footwell heating I am not sure, the Bronco warms up pretty fast and if you donā€™t want to wait the for it to heat up then get remote start. If itā€™s a stick then you can always have someone put in a work around, just donā€™t leave it in gear, haha, had an old boss lend his old civic to his mom and she remote started it in gear and the car took off, haha. Just wait until you see it and drive it, you will forget all about those issues and hopefully wonā€™t have them.

My wipers and heat are fine. If yours aren't, that's what the warranty is for.

Now the transmission, that's another story. Still out enjoying it.

12k miles never had any wiper or heat problems. Even drove it 100 miles in -60 degree wind chill and it will roast you out.

I believe these are the vents for the footwells: They have wide openings at the bottom and are hollow on the inside.

I saw the same on the passenger side behind the glove box and to the left.

I went out and asked my wipers if Solomonoff's theory of inductive inference was computable, and they said yes. I don't believe I would trust them if I were you.
