Scout EREV > Bronco PHEV

Gotta say the Harvester EREV kills my myopia on the Bronco PHEV. Other than taking doors off (I haven’t done that once in 2.5 years ownership), I think Scout/VW has Ford easily beat. Plus add front bench seat and “Tundra” back window on the Terra, seems like a clear winner.

Your assessment is premature. It is anticipated that the real world Scout vehicles will be delivered in 2027. Until then, and depending on what the production line delivers vs. 2024 pre-production models, there is nothing to judge real world Scout on. And by that time, Bronco will continue to evolve. That said, VW had to it the target as precisely on the Scout as Ford had to on the Bronco. And I believe that it did. I especially like the retro speedometer, large rear glass and the bench seat option. It is not surprising that the 1966 Bronco design borrowed heavily-very heavily-from the original Scout. I like the competition we are seeing on the SUV scene.
