I wish the bronco had the same alerts via ford pass when the alarm goes off. My 2018 F150 Raptor would alert me when the actual alarm was going off. The bronco has the feature of the opening of doors which IMHO is useless as it notified me each time I do it as well.

When my securialert was working, it would notify me if the alarm went off because of an impact. That requires the perimeter plus vehicle security system though.

However, my securialert option has now disappeared from my fordpass app, and nothing I have done has been able to bring it back. Reinstalling app, reinstalling phone, deactivating bronco, reactivating bronco, factory reset of bronco, disconnect battery for an hour of bronco, etc.
Gave up a couple weeks ago.

a ford pass customer service rep just told me over the phone that if a :master reset: occurs then it will lose the securialert feature. Currently that feature is not released and is scheduled to be re-released in the future (3rd quarter of this year 2023)

Ford reverted Securialert for the Bronco and only allows it on Mach-E and F-150 now.

Even if you have 'Perimeter Plus'?

Iā€™m still getting regular notifications from SecuriAlert on my Badlands in April 2023.

I wouldnā€™t place too much emphasis on what the Ford website says, given the Rockstarsā€™ prior track record.

You need a new hood latch. Thereā€™s an SSM out for this.

Nah. The hood latch is fine. I raise the hood in my garage when I connect my Battery Tender. That way I remember to disconnect the cable before driving off. I have unwittingly pulled Battery Tenders off the wall many times in the past, and I finally wised up. šŸ˜„

22 WT Lux/High and the only thing listed under security in the app is an offer to insure the vehicle through ford.

Just made an appt for perimeter protection though - as the saying goes, better to have it and not need itā€¦
