Hi Sean,
I just wanted to post an update. I picked up my Bronco in early December, took it to Moab for Off-Roadeo, and now have 20+ snowboarding trips in it. I didn't sell it for a profit like so many other wankers. It now has 7900 luxurious miles on it. People can't believe I got it for below MSRP. Serramonte rocks!

For all those waiting I reserved on 7/13 within the first 3 hours of going live and picked it up on 12/8. My brother reserved on 7/14 15 hours after going live and picked his up on 4/10. So, there was only 12 hours between reservations and that ended up being a four month wait for delivery.

There was a post where someone said Folsom Lake Ford is claiming that Serramonte backing out on their deal and stiffing people.

Some salesmen just have no morals.

It was a post in the Sac Bronco Group. I think it was a more of an "I heard" from the salesperson there. That's ok, this forum knows our position and reputation.

@Gloff , two quick questions for you: (thought the answer is may help other folks on this thread as well)

1) of the Bronco reservation/orders you have actually been getting, ate you finding most do or do not have Towing?

2) there have been conflicting post on how the price protection is being implemented my dealers. IIRC, Ford claimed it was to be a credit at time of purchase, others have reported that it comes in a rebate check well after purchase, and others say their dealer knowns nothing about it. How is Serramonte applying the Price Protection when our Broncos actually come in?

Ps... How is YOUR Bronco doing? Have you modified anything? any issues?

1. I haven't been keeping track on the hitch, but I did notice they are scheduling quicker without.

2. There are two price protections depending on when your vehicle was invoiced. If you ordered before 3/19/21 as a 2021 and yours was pushed to 2022, you get a rebate for the model year price increase. In addition, If you ordered before 3/7/22, and do not change your series (Trim, like Badlands), 4x4 system (Part time or Advanced), or your PEP code (Mid/High/Lux) you'll get automatic price protection. There are customers that will get one, and there are customers that will get both.

Regardless of order date, if your vehicle was invoiced 3/8/22 or later, your window sticker will reflect the updated pricing.

That second one is tricky, as the dealer is credited for the price protection 30-45 days after the sale date. So it's up to the dealer to discount the car on the contract to the correct price protection level.

More info here: https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...fies for the Bronco price protection program?

Hey @Gloff

I was wondering if you could share how your Bronco deliveries are going? More specifically what the build weeks were for your latest rounds of deliveries?

We're not tracking by build week, we go by Ford's statuses within WBDO/VV.

My spreadsheet is organized into statuses of Ordered>Scheduled>Transit>Here. I have a secondary status column that I use for build week/date>ETA>PDI readiness. If I have a customer with a request to check status, I just jump into VV and pull the data. Too much info to keep track of build date/weeks as groups.

Yeah I can see it would be hard to keep track. Just thought maybe in casual talk people may have mentioned how long they have been waiting since it was built. Just trying to get an idea if my 55 days awaiting shipment was typically, specifically for Serramonte.

not sure if it helps you or not - but my build week was 8/1/22, blend date 8/8/22, but it didn't ship for a while - 9/13/22 and then I got the call from Sean on 9/27 that I could pick it up

Yeah I know you have, and I appreciate it. There's a thread on here now talking about some new tool called VIN view It's supposed to allow dealers to better track where the inventory is.

Have you tried that yet to see?

That does... Knowing that there's a chance of a smaller window once I actually get shipped gives me some hope. I'm going to be pissed if 2023s are being delivered and I still haven't gotten mine.
