Where I work you better get used to using, knowing and hearing a lot of TLAs. Three Letter Acronyms.
Found a possible Fed over here. ? Military and Feds love to use any acronym that makes absolutely no sense. Although theirs is way longer than three words. “When you are in this situation just remember TZQPHMC and you will succeed”

I too used to sit in on a lot of meetings, I was a Risk Management consultant for large scale IT projects; I made this up at one point for teleconferences;

Oh that's when you start stuffing acronyms into acronyms! Oh you work in PTLN - well that N stands for NVH.

Car lingo, "I can go another nickel on the deal"....means $500 but really offends people who take it literally...

Prior dealership "they are all walking wallets and it is our job to empty them" self explanatory and a main reason I quit them...

"even a blind hog finds an acorn" Lucky...

The old standby "even a broken clock is right twice a day"
Keeping with the animal theme, my Dad would always say “x” is worthless as tits on a boar hog.

A little bit of something is better than a whole lot of nothing ...and that is what we have been getting

this has turned into a shit show

he is more nervous than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs

busies than a one legged sailor in an ass kicking contest

plenty more where that came from

A favorite of mine that we recently coined in our office: "ball draggers" - a company that gets so low on an estimate that their balls drag on the ground. Has now morphed into someone or something being cheap or of lesser quality. Feel free to use it around your office as you see fit.
