Hi,

Just wanted to ask other bronco fans their opinion on something, I have been debating trading in my 23 Wildtrak Lux with 3K Miles for a 21 First Edition with 1900 Miles. Please let me know your opinions!

Thanks

I think it depends on your use case and the community will need more information to provide an opinion.

  • Are you going to use it or cruise it?
  • Are you looking for value retention?
  • Is it in a more preferred color for you?
  • Hard top instead of a soft top?
  • Better optioned than what you currently have?

I'm thoroughly smitten with my Wildtrak and the way it handles in all conditions. I've driven other stock broncos and it just isn't the same as the Hoss 3.0. I can't imagine the First Edition would handle better.

If the FE is a Lightning Blue 2-dr with the Luna interior, then absolutely. If it is a moar door FE, I wouldn't even consider the trade.
What do you mean by the Luna Interior?

Value Retention and I think the Lighting Blue is beautiful

If the color is right I'd get that first edition so fast people would be dizzy.

*just saw it's lightning blue. I LOVE my truck and it's lightning blue. I would make the phone call now. Absolutely.

The internal name was called Luna, but the public marketing name was called Navy Pier. It is the same interior that was available on the OBX. The two names were Luna and Roast. Apparently, Luna was thought to be too hippy and Navy Pier prevailed. The Luna interior was the only option on the FE until reservation holders whined that they wanted an all black option.

No, if you are thinking the FE is some sort of "investment."

If it has options you desire that the WT doesn't then sure, why not.
I agree with this. I've seen it on Jeep special editions as well. They in general don't hold their value much over other similar models of the same thing.

If you like the FE better or if it fits your needs better then go for it.

I have a FE and love it.

Word of caution though, when I got mine, I didn't even consider one within the 'danger window' for the valves. That's not to say all or even a majority in the window will fail, but I just felt better getting one outside the proposed window.

I have a 23 WT. Right around the same miles as you. My buddy has a 21 FE. I'd definitely keep my WT. The HOSS 3.0 is outstanding. The FE has HOSS 2.0
