RC 2” lift with 315/70/r17 KO2s on my Black Diamond stock Steelies. Love the look, but experiencing some rubbing at full lock. Anyone have any suggestions for this? What’s the minimum spacer I’d need?

How long have you had the Icon Stage 4 on there and how does it ride? I was looking into that kit for mine later on. Any install issues?

I'm stunned that a modern tire shop still uses hammer on weights?

You're going to want to remove the crash bars. Ford does NOT install the crash bars on any Sasquatch equipped models.

The weights are on every Black Diamond with Steelies- not sure if it is functional or not, may just be aesthetic for the steelie wheel to make it look more classic.

Stayed with the stock rims. I like them better than what on the market right now. Bumped up to some 35” buckshot 2’s and 1.5” spacers. Wheels be complete now.

265 to 315 means that the inside of your tire has moved 1.0" inward (towards the UCA). The outside has likewise moved 1.0" outward.

If you don't want to trim the studs, then 1" front / 1.25" rear is the minimum spacer size (for BORA). However, the aluminum wheels all have pockets between the studs which will allow for as little as 0.75" spacers without issue. If there are any pockets in the steelies you can drop down by up to that amount. Since you have already pushed out an inch, I would think that you would want to keep it as low as possible.

No pockets = 1.25"
0.25" pockets = 1.00"
0.50" pockets = 0.75" (smallest studed spacer)

Obviously if you don't mind trimming the studs, you can't miss with the 0.75" spacers.

I never have heard a difinitive comment on wheter or not there is any pocket pressed into the steelies. I am sure that others would be interested as well...

Was pretty straight forward. Tape it on the hood for spacing. Run tape behind it for lining it up. Spaces out 1/4” on each side. I brought it down a little to fill the gap between the grill and hood. Wipe with alcohol, then use the prep pad. Tape the wires on the back side to line up with the water channels they left. I started on the right and just worked it to the left. I cut the ground shorter and put that on the fire wall. Ran the hot to my running lights on a uplifter. Just tapped one wire, they come with some nice wire splicers.

I did go with the static. Should tie in with the oracle roof light coming someday.
