For everybody looking for a part number, there is none right now. Confirmed with my dealers part department.

They said it was a factory only option right now.

It’s hard to see how they installed it, but there’s definitely some modifications to the load floor body.

Long time lurker but this tailgate has me interested enough to finally make an account.

Can anyone confirm this can be added without losing the MY22/MY22.5 price protection?

6/17/21 Reservation, 01/27/22 Order Date, No VIN

I’d like to add the tailgate to my order, but don’t want to do anything to lose the mid year protection.

I just want a damn flat floor. I could care less for the slide out table piece. I’ll pay $800 or whatever it’ll be to fix the floor issue in our 4dr BL but I wont wait until 2023 to buy it through a dealership.
Exactly this. (y)

Found the part number, believe there're a couple additional brackets and handful of hardware. Parts system does not show any in stock at any of the depots, nor does it appear they intend to offer this any time soon. Best I can come up with for a list price on the big part is just north of $2,700.00 and doesn't include whatever brackets and hardware show in the HVBOM.

Sorry to ruin the dream but I did add it on our site just to be trollish.

Yea, pretty gross. Still blows my mind there is so much $$ difference between cost when added to build vs. after the fact. Eg MIC, soft top, running board/rock rails, aux switches....It's almost like they wanted Bronco to be customizable like a Cheep or Mr. Potato Head but did everything possible to take themselves out of the running to supply the parts. I don't get it, not at all.

Right? Even for simple things like grab handles. You’d think that stuff would have been available as accessories from day 1

Congrats!! I wonder if these are available through parts department yet
I’m at the dealership now and they say it can’t be ordered yet. We’ve tried everything to add it. If anyone finds a way to order it, please post!

@sanford — Any chance you can provide some close up pics of the 2 anchor points closest to the back seat? Curious to see if there’s enough space to accommodate the Diabolical Slipstream brackets. If not, it would be helpful to see if there’s a potential mod that can be worked out.

Thanks in advance!

@CKXVII

I was thinking the same thing. Ford security option could work, but there’s a lot of taking apart.
Here’s some photos with the lid u

Nope. There’s lots of part numbers and they add up to a shit load of cash. No one has been able to order the top shelf. You can search for the info on some thread.
