Anyone have issues with the rear gas tank skid fitting on the driver's side? I'm perfectly flush on this side so there's virtually no play that I can force it with. I'm thinking I maybe have a faulty one 🤔

Nothing faulty, it's just very difficult to install. You need to bolt the 2 fuel tank skids together then start at the front and bolt on the outs side. Once the frame and front bolts are in but 1/8 to 1/4" loose throw a floor jack under the skids and start lifting. Everything will start to line up better.

Save the little L bracket for last, if you put it on already it will never go together.

@MolonLabe lol parted ways with my Metalcloak skids earlier this year. I would give them a call they will make it right.

If you were closer I would help you install them. It takes a floor jack to get them on and get the bolts in. Once they are on you can snug everything up. The skids will line up when installed, they are an absolute pain to install.
