Wow. Yup. That as they say is that. Amazing in this day to duct tape a 4K camera to your bumper for that front suspension video. Well you are going to be good to go.

One question- was this truck previously aligned??? Bc if so they probably are responsible or whoever installed the lift. They often loosen the LCAs to assist droop in suspension
The truck had the coilovers first installed + alignment done in February. At the time almost everything was good, except that front driver side coilover dropped by 1/4 of an inch. It did so on its own, which was bizzare. I then adjusted it back to the originally set height with the (jankiest, weakest, cheapest ever) Eibach spanner. Less than two weeks ago, I was getting tires for the baby carrer (aka Mother Ship 1) at the same shop, and aksed them if they can do tire balancing and alignment for the burro. They did both and about 3 4 days later, I started having the clunk (now identified as the LCA).

I'll already addressed this with the shop, and I know they'll try to correct for their mistake. However... They are not off-road specialists, and this setup may not be their cup of tea. I saw an off-road shop near my office and today I plan on stopping by and getting to know what they are about.

I wish I knew how to do alignment at home, and it probably is something I can & should learn.

You dont need an off-road special shop, just a competent alignment shop. Not properly torquing a basic alignment bolt on your LCA is sheer incompetence. Has nothing to do with your lift or type of vehicle.

Ohhh la la...

Followed SnowBronco's advice and went through all bolts and nuts to check if any of them were loose. Found out rear LCA bolts (on both driver and passanger side) were not torqued enough. They were tight, but not enough I suppose. For the sake of the video, I drove one more time with my phone poorly taped to the inside of the bumper. Look at this thing dancing around!

I will take it back for proper alignment. For now I just torqued everything down to spec, and its probably way off on alignment.

I guess this wraps up what the "Something" was in "Something's Wrong" 🫠
Those eccentrics can be tricky cause the eccentric is just a washer that is sorta "splined" to the bolt w/a flat or slot. When tightening if the eccentric washer cocks and sticks on the bolt it can feel torqued, but still be loose. Has happened to me, and probably anybody out there who has done alot of alignments. I have gotten in the habit of aligning, then driving a short distance, then recheck those (by hand just w/a wrench) to make sure they stayed tight after hitting a few bumps. The shop that aligned it will not be too suprised this happened, and should take care of ya

Toe can be done at home, super easy and less than 100$ in equipment to do a very good job. Camber is a little more challenging, but can still be done with a camber gauge. Castor is tricky though and basically requires castor slip plates and a very good camber gauge.

I have always done my alignments at home. The shops in my price range don't understand my expectation for accuracy and the shops that understand my expectation for accuracy don't understand my price range.

Interesting. I'm curious what the equipment is and how challenging it would be to learn the basics. Do you mind sharing tool links/names?
