Hi online friends,

I tried searching (perhaps I'm a n00b), but couldn't find a good/definitive answer.

I just recently got some 0 offset wheels for my base, and while I am loving how it looks, I am not loving how it sticks out another 2 inches or so from the tailgate.

From digging around, others have this issue, as many of us have gone 0 offset. I was just curious if there is a solution to either 1. shorten the spare tire rack (I doubt it), or 2. extend the rubber feet possibly?

Curious to see everyone's thoughts.

Thanks! Obligatory new wheel pic attached.

Stuff 2 black racquetballs between the bumpers and the tire. It works great and doesn't look bad at all. I installed a wheel spacer so my antenna mount would fit behind my tire. I looked for a good solution and someone else recommended this to me.

I did this. On both Broncos I've had. Just need a measuring tape and a way to cut rod.

I am tired of the noise it makes on every bump. They need to make some extended ones

I did something similar to the racquetball idea. I bought a couple of black 2” neoprene rubber balls off eBay and just shaved them down to fit snuggly.

Thanks everyone for sharing! The racquetball trick worked for me. Just came back from like a 1k mile roadtrip and they didn't fall off haha. So far so good!

I know the racquetballs would ever come out, but it would be interesting to see them bounce down the road at 70 mph. Would definitely freak whoever is behind you out.

I looked at this then said to myself if it doesn’t touch the rubbers it can’t squeak or dent the gate. So I did nothing with the wife’s it hovers there doesn’t make a sound hasn’t hurt anything.

I like this idea better than racquet balls, as the racquet balls seem like they would be more susceptible to weather degradation than neoprene, IMO. I will give it a try.

Get the tire carrier for a sasquatch equipped vehicle. The base to tire mount is shorter, and the camera is extended.

@titleistforged Check this post of mine from yesterday as well, for better explanation:

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...-badlands-spare-wheel-tire.48686/post-1492674

Edit to add some notes:

Comparison info for the two different carriers:

* The Camera poke from wheel mounting surface is 4 3/8" vs. 5 3/4" Squatch
* The carrier bracket poke from base to wheel mounting surface is 8 3/4" vs. 8" Squatch
* The light can be made to adjust up or down 1", depending on your carrier.
* Wheel spacers can be used to push out wheels with more positive offset than Squatch.
* Almost forgot! There's different bumpers for the brake light with the 1" height variation:
