Do you have a 2021 or 2022 Bronco? I was looking at that thread months ago and thought some 2022 users said this didn't work for them? I lost track before I eventually received my bronco
'22 I had no problems.

I have a 2 dr BD with base system. Just completed replacing front dash and rear speakers with Kicker 46CSC44 from Crutchfield. Also installed 300Hz base blockers on the fronts. Sound is definitely cleaner than the stock. I then add a Pioneer TS-WX130DQ Compact Sub. Purchased from Amazon for about $200 on sale. I just wanted something to round out the sound. Was not looking for ear shattering base. It really helped with making the system sound richer/fuller. Install was easy. Took some time since I went slow to make sure I did not screw anything up, but is came our great. I ended up mounting it to the back of the left rear seat. did not take up a lot of space. Also, I ordered the speaker connectors from Amazon (link below) that made connections easy and didn't have to cut factory wires.

Are the bass blockers necessary? Seems like a lot of folks are using them but when I asked Crutchfield they said they weren't really necessary.

I was kind of going with what I've been reading on the forums. Figured for under $10 for the blockers it was worth it to protect the speakers from distorting base. I may play around with removing them at some point, but now with the powered sub, the systems sounds much better to me.

Sorry one more question to those who have installed the kicker speakers. In reading the link to the post I also ordered the connectors below. Do you happen to know are these plug and play or do they need to be spliced? What did you use to connect?

Thanks

Tbh. I'd just call Crutchfield and tell them what your looking for they will generate a shopping cart for you with everything you need for what you pick.

Awesome, thanks.
Forgot to mention I used these for the dash speakers and the rear speakers in the roll bar. I am not sure if they fit the side panel speakers.

In hindsight I should hav just paid $30 more and gotten the KS Series....but hey, Im sure these are great! :). I actually have Focal speakers for the four 4-inchers - w/ the fronts on 300hz Bass Blockers. I'm sure these Kickers will be a good complement to them!

I'm actually considering going for 600Hz Bass Blockers for the fronts and then transferring the 300HZ ones to the Rear - since the rear signal is actually "weakened" by default.

Anyone have thoughts/advice on that? :)
