Guys, other than a great functional Halo warthog cosplay prop, what is the use case here? Who is the target market?

Is it basically a super capable already-capable badlands?
Its going to have piss poor mpg, literally sound like a hog, and you likely won't use it like you'd use a truck when it comes to hauling things.

For those holding out for the warthog, whats your use case? Genuinely curious!
Can't see anyone car camping with this ?
Imagine the look on the poor JK Rubicon Driver all kitted-out with 37s and a lift stopped at the red light, and you pull up in your Warthog looking like you could drive over him like Bigfoot (or Sasquatch, if you prefer). Then when the light turns green, you leave him at the light because he just crapped his pants.

There's your use case.

Me? Can't afford it no matter what, so I'll just daydream the first time I see one at the stop light.

Everybody geeking over shocks and 37" tires, yet failing to notice the upgraded rear-end underneath...that's definitely not a dana 44 nor the watts link, drop out center section rear-end under the Ranger Raptor

I am no expert, but there looks to be a ton of room in the wheel well to be running 37s. Does this mean anything significant to anyone more educated?
A lot more wheel travel...No doubt in my mind Ford performance said we’re gonna build this thing so we can do a stock run on the Baja 1000.

The guy who buys a Warthog is the same guy that takes 3 incredible hot babes to the high school reunion.

The use case? It's a Bronco...a toy. So the use case is the same as I look at any Bronco; take the top off as much as possible, and drive it off road as much as possible. Itwill kick butt with factory 37s and a big lift in a lot of environments, and be super, super fun on the road, on the beach, on the rocks, or in the mountains. You don't make a use case for a toy....

Target market? Look at how many jeeps you see running around with 37s. There is your target market....plus a lot more who like to get off road (or act like they do), but don't like Jeeps. This thing will sell like crazy at a high price point...but won'[t go to anyone who makes a "use case" for it.

We got some close-up, detailed shots of the Bronco Warthog’s Raptor-esque Live-Valve shocks, removing any doubt of the über-Bronco’s suspension makeup. We also got our first chance to photograph a Warthog wearing the 37-inch tires, to provide tire specs lifted directly from a prototype.

Live-Valve Shocks Caught Close-Up and Uncovered
All prior Bronco Warthog prototypes have had a piece of plastic or rubber screwed to the inside of the rear wheel well, effectively hiding the shock absorber design being applied to the future range-topping Bronco variant. We even previously posted a prototype that had “Warthog Shock Cover” scrawled on the camouflage panel, to remove any doubt of the function of the temporary trim piece. With the latest Bronco Warthog prototype running with the rear shocks exposed, we can now fully put to rest any doubts that the outrageous model will be a Raptor in spirit (and key suspension mechanicals), if not in name.

Those 37s
The 37-inch tires were alluded to in an official post from Ford PR, but now we can report on exactly what the specs of the epic rubber. We managed to zoom in enough on a Warthog’s rear tire, revealing the following specs: 37x12.50R17LT 124R. Not every Warthog prototype has been fitted with the 37-inch tires, it’s, in fact, a rare sighting. Nearly every Bronco Warthog test vehicle we’ve seen has been wearing the Sasquatch-spec 35-inch tires, albeit in the usual BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 found on the F-150 Raptor. The 37-inch tires are also the BFG KO2s.

Ohhhhhhh Boy! I think I just settled my other debate (build old jeep vs buy new bronco). This thing looks AWESOME! I do wonder about those proportions in the rear. I would almost prefer to see wider metal coupled with the standard fender flare vs a big fat plastic fender flare to cover the tire.

I also wonder about performance with 37's. I hope all the talk about the navigator engine are true, it's gonna need it! Further, a sweet aftermarket tune would be in order.

The only thing missing is the "sound." I won't let that deter me, but does anyone have links to an example of aftermarket exhaust that gives a beefier note? I'm not a huge fan of high RPM rev limiter popping, rally car sound.

With all this, the right move might be to buy a base, build it up unique, sell it in 2022 and buy this bad boy!
