Stuck in 4wd, console shows 2wd

Hope you're all set at this point. That's pretty much what happened to me (battery died, wouldn't start, trickle charged until full, then had the issue). I won't be parking it for any length of time without keeping the charger on it anymore.

Yeah, they replaced the battery and had to reset the computer - said it needed to be attached to the “ford server” and once they did that everything is fine. I need to get a battery tender as I don’t drive this daily and that way I won’t have to worry about it. They said the battery had a “bad cell” but a tender is still probably some cheap insurance!
