For those that have switched out the subwoofer to a new location did you leave the old one in or remove it? If you removed it, what did you fill the space with? We had a down firing box added to the cargo area and the amp is mounted where the old sub was, but now when the engine needs power going uphill it sounds like the exhaust sound is echoing in the empty space.
