I thought I would be another Guinea pig And try out a new part With assistance from @Bmadda for his critical measurements, we Have a NEW replacement CV joint available now for the Bronco rear drive line. This is most helpful for the two-door Clan as we have the short drive line and greater angle. Ford doesn't offer a replacement joint and spicers Driveline comes with a new joint but it isn't any better than the Ford OEM original. This new Teraflex part does have slightly more angle available in the joint and the boot feels more rubbery and seems to flex a bit more so hopefully the boot will remain intact for longer before destroying itself like the OEM One does. I took the time to do some research and called Teraflex and got the drawings of both of the Jeep CVS they have available and the JL model is an exact match the spline count is the same and the bolt pattern is the same and the diameter is the same. Additionally I will be sending in a stock two-door Factory Driveline to Teraflex so that they may build new Drive Lines for us with new high angle CV joints attached to both ends. I like this part because it is easily replaceable and you don't have to buy a whole Drive Line and you could keep a spare one with you if you thought it was going to wear out a break similar to the U-joint. Eventually when I upgrade the power train to a lot more horsepower I'll likely upgrade the Driveline to a double carton 1410 series chromoly heavy duty but for now I'm going to try out this Teraflex joint and see how it works on my Spicer Driveline. I'll include the part number as well and here's a ton of pictures so folks can see how nice it is that this upgrade fits.
