You need a buddy with a winch.

The green Bronco is the buddy with the winch… lol my Bronco is behind the SxS’s we had with us… other problem, is there was no solid ground to position on, to winch from behind, and no way to get another vehicle around to the front…

Snatch-block and winching to itself worked just fine.

Hillbillies climb muddy rocks....thus the hill part (SE TN here so I speak from experience) you sir do not have the correct tree pattern for that terrain.... might I suggest the interco super swamper LTB?

Those are a good call for a rig that's gonna see mixed terrain with a fair amount of mud...if you wana get serious about mud...Boggers! In the ongoing war of man vs. mud, they are tactical nukes! Only downside is they don't work well in other types of terrain...sand for instance, if you give it any gas, they just dig 4 holes to china till the frame is laying on the ground

Yeah, bloggers are only good other places either siped bolts through the tread, or both.

BFG All terrains are great just about everywhere except deep, thick mud. In that scenario they earn the moniker "BF get stucks"

and it was THICK. The tube of the tire was packed full of it, must’ve weighed 300+ pounds!

Man, that was nothing...you didn't even swamp your motor!
photo0(6).jpg

Xj airbox...he got a little deep!. If your tire hadn't rolled a bead you woulda been fine (beadlocks are nice). Theres a technique to mudbogging, just like rockcrawling...most of the time they just call us unskilled hillbillies tho!
Oh yea, I learn a new trick every time we hit the trails. I definitely won’t be rolling the wheels next time!

That wasn’t intended to be a mud ride, the same trail was bone dry two weeks before. Some good rains left us with an exciting ride that day!

I believe he rocks the modular bumper with RC hidden winch setup
Sure do. Great setup, I’m really happy with it. We’ve done several recoveries over the last few months, including the self recovery, and it worked like a champ every time.

With how dusty and dry it had been last few rides, I forgot they even had mud!

One of these days, I wanna cruise the creek all the way to the end tho!

I’m running the Mickey Baja Boss A/T’s and they’re great for what I need. I’m on the dunes, rocks, trails and highway more than mud…. Except on that day!
