There is a nice symmetry with a two door gray BaseMan getting a fitting-up and becoming "El Burronco" (el just sounds better, if only I could rrroll my rrr's). Would be even better with a full Bronco to Burro symbol swap, but cool nonetheless. Sweet ride, man.

Looks great, must be super fun to drive with the manual. I sometimes wish I got the manual- but would have to do exactly as you did- order base and build it up from there. I got Basesquatch with 2.7 instead. Love it except for not being able to row the gears. Already has 35's, I get almost 24 MPG average on cheap ole 87. I can't complain it gets within 5 MPG of my daily driver 2023 GTI driving baby footed and in eco mode. I expected waaaaay better mileage from the GTI. But I row the gears in that at least.

God knows how many regulations make it illegal or financially non-viable to have a two seater option.

But hey -We got sawzalls, plywood, fingers and time to lose.

You mentioned fingers. Thanksgiving is never the same.

There is a bit of a long story behind the name and color.

I've been an avid model car collector for about 20 years now. We're talking tens of thousands of model cars.
Back in 2012 I found a Bronco model car that I absolutely loved. It was gray/silver with a black top, two seater, etc.

So I kept this little model close and when Ford announced that they will be building a Bronco based on their 2004 concept, I was super excited. The name that the model car has is "Burronco" because of its color. Jada Toys was werid with their model names, and I love it.
I never cared to preorder or reserve a Bronco build. I knew the right vehicle will come by. Sure enough, this year I found my silver/gray Base, manual, 2-door with black roof. I then ordered gray Method wheels to keep with the theme.

And yes, since its a Base, I don't have any of the fancy stickers on the fender, so I made sure I put something representing my interests and hobby.

Many people buy a model car that is a replica of their real car, I bought a real car that is a replica of my model car. "Me very smart 🤪"

I get 17 on the highway and 19 in the city on 91. Aerodynamics of a brick.

65 psi HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! What tire pressure do you run on road vs “in the mud”? I love those Mickeys BBATs my favorite tire.
On the road I run 29 cold. 5 minutes of driving gets them up to 32psi at a surface temp of 75F. On my way to Crater Lake recently I was running on a 110F surface temp and tires got to 37 psi on the hwy.
In the mud I got them down to 10 psi, and I was pretty confident they won't pop out of bead. 5 psi might be pushing it I think.
In the deep snow I got them down to 10 psi, and then back to 15 psi once I was out of the powder.
In Death Valley I did 20 psi on a somewhat cooler day and driving over soft gravel.
Never had trouble with traction, however they do make a strange humming sound at hwy speeds before they get up to over 31-32 psi.

A detailed seat-delete write up would be of great help for many of us... your Bronco looks great.
I owe this group a detailed build. It was easy and no more than $100, probably $50 given thst I had a bunch of stuff laying around the garage.

Hey Ford, are you noticing? How about making a factory rear seat delete option on the two door Bronco. Thanks.
What is your VIN, I'll look into that for you!

We got this one off Etsy because we joked it was a unicorn while we were waiting for it. Maybe they could make you one. Not sure who it was we just searched unicorn bronco logo and found it.
