The Infamous 12ft Skeleton from Home Depot fits in the back of a Bronco!

So… Halloween is around the corner and one of the hottest decorations for the last couple of years has been the 12ft tall skeleton from Home Depot. The last two years we’ve been out of luck in finding one.

Well today we stopped by our local Home Depot and saw they had Halloween decorations in boxes, but all wrapped up and cordoned off. After some back and forth with a very helpful employee (Michael at HD in Watauga, TX) and a call with the manager, they sold us one out of pre-stocked inventory.

The box was pulled down and the ‘uh oh’ moment happened. That box is huge! So we head out to the Bronco, and try to get the box in the back. We’ve got a soft top, so put the top up, lifted the back but needed about 2 more inches of clearance.

So we set about tearing apart the box in the parking lot, loading up the Bronco and stuffing the skeleton inside. Job done! Another fun Bronco adventure in the books!

Is that envelope style cargo net made for the Bronco or one that just fits? I've seen the one that goes on the floor of the Bronco, but that's not what I want. Curious where you got yours because it obviously fits. Thank you!

This is what I came up with for the envelope cargo net. It's not perfect, I may try and find a slightly narrower one to make it tighter, but it definitely works! The box actually fits in the back (4-DR) without having to remove the skeleton. I know, I have the skeleton and inferno.....two trips.

Well thats something that a JLU cannot do. Tried to put on in the back of a JLU and had to take it out of the box to get it to fit.
