I don't want the one pictured there. I'd rather have a larger one similar to either their Mustang one (regular legos) or the Defender one (technic)

The former looks cleaner but the latter has more functions/working parts.

Completely agree - I would want a $100 set. For me the defender is a little too big at $160 I think and the current $50 rubicon is too small for sure. I only used the image for the lego Bronco as its the only 21 I've seen attempted.

I'd like to see a comparable 2500+ piece kit (like the Defender) and would easily pay $200 for it.

Also, I don't care about control+ because I prefer to pay for more pieces to get more detail and then display this than to use it as an RC.

I usually would agree, but with moving parts, the top, accessories, and ruggedness of the Bronco I prefer technic. But for a sports car the new white Creator Porsche 911 is my favorite so far.
