My Bronco 429 miles away - just past Tyler Texas and she looks like she's coming in HOT. Should hit the rail yard today some time. I almost want to take the rest of the week off - that way the engine can throw the valve and I can get the engine replacement party started!

I don't think that they do, as near as I can tell. Although there is a UP route that does go through Houston. I guess that it's 50/50 either way. If it stops in Houston, I will be annoyed. LOL.

CSX just released the car to UP. Will be picked up tonight. Schedule shows arrival in Kirby on 11/16. I'm a little skeptical of the connection in Pine Bluff, AR. Train is scheduled to arrive right before cutoff for the connection there. Think of it like booking an airline ticket with a 30 minute connection. Can you make it? Yes, in theory, but it really depends on whether your incoming flight is early or late. I would expect arrival and unload in San Antonio on 11/17.

Looks like I made the connecting flight... Just past Tyler Texas. Thanks for all the past updates.
