It's in North Platte, NE, scheduled to depart at 07:00 CST tomorrow. Expected to arrive at Mira Loma (ramp facility) on Saturday late evening. Figure it will be available for pickup by the truck transport on Monday. I don't think the ramp is open on the weekends.

Kinda weird as mine I would assume is Union Pacific as it is traveling to Nevada. When I call they say they expect it Nov 22nd. I call CSX and get more info about it being in Walbridge, OH. Thanks again mpeugeot!
CSX seems to be taking cars headed west to Cincinnati before heading west to Chicago. I'm sure that's what yours is doing.

I would not expect to see it on the 22nd. When the CSX shares the waybill with the western rail (usually BNSF or UP, in your case I'm sure it's the UP) the western rail populates the routing to give to the CSX. Because they have no idea when the CSX is going to deliver the car they just use the date of receipt of the way bill as a starting point as a placeholder. I'm sure that's what whoever told you the 22nd is picking up. You won't have an accurate timeline for at rail destination until your rail car goes through interchange.

Wondering if anyone has had this issue or has any insight. 11/5 build, got the shipped email yesterday at 3:30 am. My window sticker has said convoy since day one but I talked to the dealer yesterday and he's showing rail. The palsapp link pulls up my VIN, but says pending with location null. Is there a way to find out how I'm actually shipping? lol!

I've confirmed with inside sources that if you receive your rail car number it slows down delivery by 7-10 days on average.

It is best not to know.

I've confirmed with inside sources that if you receive your rail car number it slows down delivery by 7-10 days on average.

It is best not to know.
Would you rather have customers contacting you constantly for tracking updates? I don’t understand why an honest dealership like Granger would care about this.

I totally get that the first paragraph was sarcastic.

The part about “It is best not to know” suggests that Zach thinks it’s a mistake to track one’s Bronco. The sarcastic paragraph was just a funny way of saying what he really wanted to say, which is found in his following sentence quoted here.

So I’m just wondering why any dealer, especially an honest one, would rather have their customers contact them constantly for tracking updates instead of just let the customer track it for themselves.

Looks like the car may have bad ordered in Cincinnati. Was released to OK status this morning. Headed to Chicago for interchange with the UP

any way to tell me what I'm waiting for at Blue Island, IL ? (heading to TX)
Mine was at Blue Island for a couple of days. Transferred to Norfolk Southern there. Then went back to Indiana, transferred to a different train, then back to a different railyard IN CHICAGO! Fortunately I'm now on the move and have made it across Illinois into Iowa. Hoping it's moving south toward KC.

Train logistics make a lot of sense to train logistics people. They make no sense to the rest of us. ;)

Bottom line is Blue Island is a big transfer station, so you're likely getting jockeyed around until on a new train.
