My buddy has an ascent. When I explained to him my bronco build for family hauling. With no rack. Dubious payload. Lack of Cupholders. Shallow cargo hold. Sasquatch MPGs. And the near 60k price tag....

he goes what in gods name are you doing? And you’re waiting how long for this? You could get a discounted CPO x,y,z now that is leaps and bounds better suited. Think model x, cayenne, RR, loaded x5, latest gen disco

lol. But hey, I’m not driving a minivan turned awd suv. I’m 90% sure the bronco won’t cut it. But rather buy it, lock it in and never let go. I’ll give it a shot. And when it becomes evident that it can’t cut it, I’ll let my second vehicle be the placeholder for an upgrade to a proper family hauler. But here’s to wishful thinking the bronco could be an all in one truck
What is it lacking for YOU that would help make it a better all in one. I get that it’s not meant to be an all in one, but curious what’s missing for you

Apparently, cup holders is going to be on the list...

Too funny, we’ve been dying for the return of the Bronco, a go anywhere, fun 4X4 and it’s almost here...running 70 mph across Johnson Valley with passengers giggling like little kids!

People are going to turn them in with low mileage to but unibody CUVs because of cup holders and tire noise...ridiculous!

Proper rear ac vents. A cargo area thats 12” longer. Fixed roof with pano, retractable rear window more cupholders. Smaller wheel cut out that doesnt inspire 35” tires to fit the bill with the mpg hit. Basically the prelim rendering of the bronco from last year would be PERFECT. But all good. I love this rig.

Still wonder what final 4 door cargo depth is ? Saw two door but nothing for the 4 door. That would help

Anyone else hoping for an aftermarket ridged thing for this? I just see those bungee cords singing in a year or two.

With the molle rear on the back seats I'm not to worried based on my intended use/application.
Heck I will start a thread once I take delivery and see how many "beverage holders" it really has by clipping as many of these bad boys on the back of the seats.

Looks like some just want an F-150 with a bed cover and a king cab, while others only seem to really need to get is either the Sport or an Explorer to make sure they've got proper iPad and slurpy holders.

But won't they look so cool with the roof off and on them 35s!  ....

Where the wheelers at?!!!! 🤪

I wonder how many folks would like the cup holders on a Gen1.:p
They worked great at the drive in movies. If you can find a drive in movie anymore.:(
Maybe they will be on the "Heritage Edition"?

Kids don't need creature comforts, soft ass parents do in an effort to ignore them.

We used to road trip in whatever dad bought. Did that mean going to Grand Canyon in a Vette? No, but a Station wagon, Waggoneer, Land Rover, many have done a pickup, just whatever.

Kids are adaptable and they don't need all of that soda anyway. Water out of a bottle or a juice box do just fine. When they get too loud, pop em, or just pour a bit of bourbon in the juice to chill them out. These are some of the questionable remedies that our parents used on those of us over 40 and we're fine.

Get the Bronco and take the kids camping and they'll have so much fun chasing bugs, looking at woodland critters, and swimming in the lake or river and getting some quality time learning how to fish, shoot, find a line on the trail, hook up a winch, dig out the rig with a shovel, etc.

Good times! :giggle:

I can’t believe Ford forgot about cup holders! I’m so upset! Look at Subaru!

This makes me want to puke. I am happy to have minimal cup holders in the Bronco.

Our old faithful Family Truckster - a 2013 Flex - is getting traded in on my Bronco. With a *strict* no eating / drinking policy already in place for anyone but me once delivery is made, I couldn't care less.

To be honest, with all these things are engineered to do I would NOT want a cup of anything sitting in the typically shallower cupholder wells of a flip-down armrest or fold-out rear console if I get ambitious and decide to push her a little bit.
