Imagine if you will:
Ford never discontinued the 1st Gen Bronco, but like Jeep continued to improve and modify approximately the same existing style and platform about every ten years like the CJ5 - CJ7 - YJ - TJ - JK - JL.

What kind of Bronco would we have today?

For example Jeep dropped the V8 option but kept solid axles yet went to coil springs. What changes might have Ford implemented?

Perhaps Ford would of copied Jeep with some kind of Rubicon off road package? That would of been awesome!

What a world that would be....

If I’m being honest it probably would’ve switched to the stupid TTB axle at some point and lost a lot of that utility. This is honestly what I’m expecting for the 2021, hopefully they’ve learned the necessary information with the Explorer/F-150 to make it as seamless as can be.

It likely would be offered in 2- or 4-door and would be based off of the F150 platform (along with F150-esque styling). It wouldn't be a direct competitor to the wrangler, and Jeep likely would've added it's own vehicle line based off the Ram platform to compete with the Bronco. Either that, or the Bronco II would've been the one to live on, and we'd essentially be right where we are now (because it probably would've been axed along with the Ranger, but unlike the Ranger wouldn't have continued production for overseas markets)
