Does anyone have any more information on the trail camera system that was shown during the reveal video?

The feature was demonstrated on the 12 inch screen but I'm hoping it will also come standard with the 8-inch screen.

Here is a YouTube link to the exact time it is shown:

It seems like it would be a useful feature since it combines the recorded video along with GPS data and even appears to show an inclinometer at the bottom.

Thank you for your thoughts and I apologize if this has been asked before.

Only info I know is really what was shown in the press release.

Looks like it has a front camera that allows you to record when you are off-roading. I also believe it will have graphics to show your where your wheels are on the ground and where they are pointed. Looks like it will also track your pitch, roll and yaw. All of these will be tracked along with your video, GPS and be available to upload.

This USA Today article states it has 360 degree camera views, including a 'spotter' view for each wheel.

Thank you Natai. I will try to find some images of the 360 camera feature and do some investigating.

I also just noticed that the vehicle icon used on the trail maps feature that was shown during the reveal is NOT a "real" BOF Bronco but possibly a bronco sport.

This might seem minor but I would love to see a more accurate model of the Bronco there. Possibly even make it the same color as the Bronco you are driving!

I'm super interested in this feature. Honestly with the 360 camera and the ability to trail record its part of the reason that I'm considering the high package. One question that I hadnt seen asked is if it can record normal driving like a dash cam. Seems like all the hardware is there and in place and it would be some pretty simple coding to allow it to record all the time and depending on the size of sd card just write over itself.

Great point about the dash cam ability! I had not even considered that aspect.

This is also one of the main reasons for me considering the high package.

I'd guess you need the 360 view for the forward facing cam but I'm hoping the trail GPS is part of the mid-pack GPS. If not, oh well I guess.

Fairly certain this is only available with the high package; which also comes with the larger screen. I wish you could get it on Mid.

I've been watching the Rubicon and moab videos. The spotter is getting a workout. It doesn't seem like they are using the 360 camera.
