We have been working on this for 2 years and those who follow us and know, have been chomping at the bit to get this product! We have tested many different revisions and designs that all accomplish our mission but we were never happy with it and it never felt perfect, until this one. This Table slide we have designed was designed from the ground up and now uses a completely proprietary extrusion profile that allows us to accomplish a 1.49" profile table slide that is designed to fit with our roof rack and similar roof racks that utilize 1020/ 80/20 style roof rack with those extrusions. We spent tons of hours working on making this a universal part to work for not just overlanders but for those who like the use of a table for their activities.

The table we used was specifically chosen due to a few factors. One, the table's profile, it is 29mm or just about an inch of profile which is one of the slimmest we can find available. Two, price and quality, at the price point when we were looking at it ($379.00 but now $439.00 due to tariffs) was as affordable as we can find for the high quality. Yes the table is not super cheap but from all of our testing, this table truly fits the bill for what we are looking for BUT we are exploring the options of making an American made table that fits the same profile. Three, table availability throughout the world, Alu Cab is well known throughout the whole world with dealers everywhere even in the USA, this allows us to just sell you the table slide and you pick up the table at your local Alu Cab dealer allowing you to save on shipping and have support if it is ever needed on the table, locally.

Something we wanted to focus on and take our products to the next level was to think "first out, last in". For those who know and have played tetris in organizing their gear in their trunk or bed know what we mean when we say this. Our focus was to allow you to have a table that was the first thing out of your vehicle to offer you a clean platform to unpack your gear onto the table AND also not have to dump your gear onto the ground so that you can put your table in your truck first because that is just "how it fits best in there". Now with this product, you can be "first out, last in". The table can come out first and be that platform to unpack but also be the last to put away in the vehicle so your gear stays off the ground.

No worries! We did our best to keep cost low and successfully accomplished our product starting at $219.99. We unfortunately have no control over the cost of the table from Alucab that works with our table slide.

I will say, while I think their price on that table is quite high, it does seem like a buy it for life item like many of their products. The gas struts are clutch. Kind a stretch, but I wouldn't spring for it unless I was going out ALOT. I've recently tempered my spending. If I was overlanding two to four weekends a quarter I wouldn't think twice. I believe FrontRunner had a similar solution at a similar price point.

I love it. Space is limited especially with a 2 door. Unfortunately the table itself is out of my price range. If I ever get one on sale or find a used one - I'd definitely buy the slide.

I see the bottom of the table is pointing up when stored. What keeps rain water from pooling in it and then coming down on you when you pull it out? Can you flip it around so the top of the table is up or will the legs staying folded become an issue?

Ya know... looks like it could be used with a wide variety of tables as long as the thickness is a similar-ish dimension. Will have to go hunting through Alucab's website later to see if they list their dimensions anywhere.

Unfortunately I will have to pass on this as it doesn’t look like it would work with standard roof top tent mounts and the water issue that was brought up

I’m a fan. I have a 23zero shower tent attached to the back of my TRMR, so this couldn’t slide out that way. Any ideas? I don’t like having my shower/bathroom back there, but don’t know how to mount it elsewhere as I’ve got a SkyCamp 2.0 that overhangs my rack on both sides.

I need this with my trailrax roof rack. Would the table and mount interfere with my quick detach roam case mounts on the back of roof rack?

Good find.

I'm assuming those dimensions are in millimeters... only thing that makes sense. So... roughly an inch wide. Too narrow for your typical cheap plastic Walmart table, but I'm sure there are alternatives out there.

No, the Alu-Cab table is a $439.99 option when ordering the slide. The Trailrax Table slide itself (made for the Alu-Cab table) is only $219.99, but you have an option to add the Alu-Cab table.
