You're dialed in.
The funny thing is I've always been the guy that wings everything. All the planning is super foreign to me.

This looks amazing there Dickey.

Im 30 min from Windrock, and youā€™ll drive past my house as you head towards Charlotte the next day. PM me closer to the date and we can try to get a group together out there. Are you camping on site?

You are welcome to pit stop at my house if needed, Iā€™m well equipped for repairs and provisions (cold beer). šŸ˜€. Iā€™ll even let you power wash some mud off so your mileage doesnā€™t suffer too much.

I did reserve a site at Windrock. I decided it was best to stay on site so I could leave the trailer at camp while playing. I'll definitely be in touch. It's getting closer!

Im just an hour south of Windrock. I think I am off when you are gonna be there. I might be able to meet up or bring any tools you may need for repairs. Gotta support the #2DoorMafia

Preparation continues. My 21 cubic feet roof top cargo bag came in, it's going to ride on top of the trailer to give us more room for gear. After our 4 day trip to the coast it was clear that we're going to collect stuff along the way and run out of room quickly.

Also ordered a spare tie rod and a Redarc brake controller. I don't think there's a whole lot of risk of breaking a tie rod, but it would be catastrophic to the travel plan timeline to have to be towed to a dealer. The Redarc is probably overkill for a 1k lb trailer but I have everything else so why not make it functional.

I'm going back and forth if I want to put 33s back on for this trip or not. My napkin math says the 35s will cost me roughly $600 more in fuel. Is looking cool worth that?

I finished fleshing out the itinerary this morning. This really is going to be epic. 18 pages of detailed plans.

The trailer is all done and ready except for upgrading the tongue box. Charging wires upgraded to 6 gauge, Renogy DC-DC charger, fold down base cabinet, thicker mattress, more 12v, 120v, and USB ports, folding entry step, made the Lock N Roll height adjustable.

The Bronco is almost there, added the Redarc brake controller, started running 6 gauge wiring from battery to rear. Adding a 2nd 12v power port in the cargo area that will always be on.

Memorial Day weekend I'm heading to Boise to do a little wheeling in the Owyhees and I'll be taking the trailer to do a shakedown run.

You must feel gut punched. I know that I would feel disheartened by not being able to take the Bronco, visit Yelllowstone, or wheel along your epic journey. May the rest of your trip be trouble free.

Oh nooooo! I was lucky enough to just get back from Yosemite. The Bronco was a champ.

With the luck you are experiencing I advise you to skip Vegas as well.
Last time I was there I came back broke and married.
