How did it work for you?
Good trial information on points of interest as they are coming up on the trail, you are able to download the trail to your phone so no worry about connectivity. Also you can record the trip on your phone if you have a mount. More importanty keeps you on the trail and you can also see bypasses if needed.

Bet he did the "baby lions back" the now closed lions back was a scary SOB.
Gotcha - yes LB was scary, I did it several times under peer pressure. I'm glad it's closed.

😂

Whenever I hear Lion's Back, I always think of this video I saw years ago:

Do you think you could’ve done it without the front lockers?

Thx for the write up. Would you do the Fins & Things technical part with ledges in a Badlands on 33s? With a decent spotter? :)
People have done fins in a retired cop car crown vic. its a place where you can go as hard as you want and even the really cool looking hard stuff isn't high risk. that said there are always places where if you aren't paying attention you can flop on your side, so pay attention to the painted trail markers and have fun. Its a great orientation to moab trail and an easy one to hit if you get back to town in the early afternoon and are looking for something to do before dinner.

As others have said, it's absolutely doable on 33's.

I also did Hells Revenge including the primitive exit road on a nearly stock Badlands 2.3/MT running stock wheels. Icon tie rods and skids/sliders were the only mods). That being said, the primitive exit road was fairly loud in terms of hitting, scraping and dragging the ol' girl over the rocks. Was thr most damage incurred in all of Moab, that exit road!

Ford Bronco Trip report for first run to Moab with my 2022 Bronco Badlands. 20230323_143019

@BBQBoy What were the other people driving that they couldn't make the turns on Shafers Switchbacks? I've seen Toyota Tundras and F150's make those corners without needing 3-point turns!

Anything close to a Bronco/Wrangler can make the corners with minimal planning.

The exit is a good challenge for a Bronco. With Sasquatch you probably won’t drag as much. But it’s not to say a beginner like myself wasn’t in a permanent pucker. :p
