I’m going to say best case scenario is a day or so. With my first false rail car number, it sat in Chicago for a day and a half before moving to Gibson In and then from there it picked up speed. I’ve attached a SS of the last tracking I had (I know it seems obsessive but it now helps paint a picture of the route it takes to the Richmond yard) my current rail car number sat in Chicago for a day and some change and arrive to Gibson IN 11/20 9:50 pm EST. What’s different though this time is that it says via IHB. Since we are both having our broncos brought to california, hoping this may bring some comfort timeline wise since both are going along roughly same timeline so farSo yesterday my rail car status had switched to "offered up to external yada yada".
Sounds like a few of us were in the same situation, and as of today some people's train cars are heading back to MAP, while others have found their way heading forward.
I was afraid to call this morning, but I did and turns out for once I may have finally gotten a break.... Looks like my rail car is on its way to Chicago and will be there this afternoon.
Guess I'll have to see how long it sits in Chicago!
So glad you are using notes exactly as I have … I thought I was being too OCDI’m going to say best case scenario is a day or so. I grew impatient but also was counting down the days I would receive my bronco knowing I sold my truck on the 12th…. Only to find out the sales guy gave me the wrong rail carSo glad you are using notes exactly as I have … I thought I was being too OCD
Understood! Thank you!I grew impatient but also was counting down the days I would receive my bronco knowing I sold my truck on the 12th…. Only to find out the sales guy gave me the wrong rail carbut it helps knowing what path it’s going to take if it’s going on BNSF to Richmond california
Mine was a private party sale, sold it to an 18 yr old in high school to get a nice prerunner for a steal of a deal for him. I applied for a car loan and got a surprisingly decent interest rate on my own (21 and first time buying a new car) without a co-signer, but sucks knowing I’m back to square one! My offer expires Dec 14th, hoping it arrives beforeUnderstood! Thank you!
We almost sold or VW before we left to Portugal on Oct 25, after confidence from Ford and dealer that the Oct 5 shipped date and in transit status AND updated delivery date of 11/01-11/08 would be the last updated date. NOPE… so I feel for you! But…. I’m sure you aren’t losing value everyday on your trade like we are…. So you probably won on that, but we are all losing on interest rates… over 1% rise in rates since their delay…

I was offered 4.28% at 72 months through WESCOM, couldn’t find anything less than that around hereSame
Our 3.49% expired… now we are at 4.49%
Mine has not made it to Chicago yet. I make my 3rd payment on 12/9........So I am hoping the same.My rig is on Norfolk Southern and was supposed to arrive at Newark yesterday. It was still in PA this morning and the ETA for arrival in NJ is now Thanksgiving Day. It's inching closer to me. Hopefully I will take delivery before making my 3rd loan payment on a Bronco that I don't even own yet.
before in the past when I called and got that message, I was under the assumption that it arrived and was in the process of being checked in. When my last rail car number was at the border of AZ and CA, it went AWOL for a bit saying there was no status available, and then all of a sudden checked into Cadiz CA... id probably go with the assumption that is has arrived and in the middle of check in processThis morning my rail car info said left for Chicago at 5:14AM with arrival time of 7PM.
I just called to check and now it just says no status available. Anyone else have this happen? Every time I have called to check it always has the last status as the message, not no status available. Really hoping it is not lost now!
Glad you had a similar experience! That is what I was hoping might be happening. I will try after the 7PM est arrival time.before in the past when I called and got that message, I was under the assumption that it arrived and was in the process of being checked in.
