I know it's all speculation at this point. But does anyone have any educated guesses how much it'll be to upgrade to the 2.7 and auto transmission (begrudgingly)?

Seeing as Ford charges $995 on the F150 to change from the 3.3L V6 and 6 speed transmission to the 2.7L Ecoboost and 10 speed transmission, I would disappointed with any price over $995, and my expectations are for it to be more than $995.I bet the trans is $1K - thats what it is on the Mustang give or take a few dollars.
I bet the 2.7 is $3K.
Prepare for disappointment....i'm sure trans alone will be 1500Seeing as Ford charges $995 on the F150 to change from the 3.3L V6 and 6 speed transmission to the 2.7L Ecoboost and 10 speed transmission, I would disappointed with any price over $995, and my expectations are for it to be more than $995.
wrangler charges $2000 for auto. And I think closer to $1500 for the engine. (Simply because it a premium choice vs the f150 that’s just a lateral move)I bet the trans is $1K - thats what it is on the Mustang give or take a few dollars.

Trans $1500 to match jeep pricing, Engine $1000. $2500I know it's all speculation at this point. But does anyone have any educated guesses how much it'll be to upgrade to the 2.7 and auto transmission (begrudgingly)?
My slightly educated, but mostly random guess.I know it's all speculation at this point. But does anyone have any educated guesses how much it'll be to upgrade to the 2.7 and auto transmission (begrudgingly)?
With the Wildtrak, you also don't get the disconnecting sway bar, rock rails, and heavy duty bash plates are optional.Yea it's interesting to compare the Badlands to the Wildtrak.
Badlands 4-door: $44,590
Wildtrak 4-door: $51,370
Difference? $6,780
For $6,780, you're theoretically getting:
- 2.7L
- 10 speed
- Mid Package
- Sasquatch Package
- Black painted hard top
And you're theoretically losing:
- Marine grade vinyl seats
- Rubberized flooring (you get carpeted flooring in the Wildtrak, so maybe not a loss to some)
- Heavy duty front bumper, steel rear bumper
How do these things offset? No clue, but for $6,780, the 2.7L + 10 spd couldn't be much more than $4k according to my completely uneducated guess.
You're right, I missed those. With the Wildtrak, you also don't get the disconnecting sway bar, rock rails, and heavy duty bash plates are optional.
With the Badlands when you add the Sasquatch package that also requires the addition of the 10 speed auto transmission. The Badlands already has the suspension, so the only additions is the suspension lift, wheels and tires.
My take is that if you outfit the Badlands with Sasquatch package, 2.7L V6/10 speed auto, and mid package, the cost will be just above a Wildtrak without additional options. Unless that Wildtrak hood decal is really expensive.
