Used 2022 Cyber Orange or new 2026 Orange Fury

My wife and I have both been drawn to the cyber orange and we’re sad to see it discontinued in 2022 (I know this color is polarizing we loved it). Although it’s not “orange” we liked the flake in the paint in direct sun.

Has anyone seen the new Orange Fury on a ford vehicle and have good comparison? Afraid it may not have similar shine and debating if ordering a new 2026 or find an old Cyber Orange. My preference is new with the new features. But she is pretty set on CO.

Any thoughts would be appreciated! Not sure if there are strong options in the improvements from 22 to 26 (rear A/C, new grab handles, upgraded suspension). My preference is a Badlands 4 door, likely would look for an LUX or High package.

I had a a ‘21 Cyber Orange and compared it to an Orange fury…..in my opinion they are very very similar, but I feel the Orange Fury is just slightly more Orange than Cyber. They are very very similar. Here’s a couple comp pics, one of these is a member here on the forum

I have seen Orange Fury in person on two Broncos doing road testing (nighttime in a well lit gas station parking lot) and it is more orange than Cyber Orange. I personally prefer Fury to Cyber also the matching top looked really nice, surprisingly not too much orange.

Buy 2026, there are many improvements over the years. Ford does not disclose details most the time according to my buddy working with production line.

I have an '18 GT350 in Orange Fury and I love it. When it is in the sun it has a sparkle. I like the darker sheen vs. Cyber.

It is a "safer" color, but also easier for the handheld radar guns to lock in. As is white, ehne I did a traffic school class, the instructor asked everyone to put their hand up who was driving a white or "bright colored" car; apparently, the likelihood of getting a ticket is inversely proportional to the brightness or lightness of the color.

We have a Maverick in the new color at the Ford dealer and I agree that it looks a little more orange because the cyber always reminded me of school bus yellow.

Back in 2021 I had a Cyber Orange on order until my kid called it "sparkly school bus yellow"

Part of me still wants it.

We were in the same boat. Cyber Orange was awesome. Orange Fury is awesome. Here’s a photo of our old Bronco compared to an Orange Fury Maverick I saw at the autoshow. OF has slightly more saturation but very similar metallic flake.

I had an Orange Fury Mustang that I traded in for my 21 Cyber Orange Badlands. Orange Fury is a real orange, Cyber orange is more of the yellowy orange. I think Orange Fury is a better color, but it will NOT have the flake in it that you like on Cyber Orange. While Orange Fury is a tri coat, it is not a color shifting type paint that Cyber Orange is. If that is what you really like, go with the Cyber Orange. You will miss out on a couple improvements in the Bronco those most likely, the Dash, rear ac, bigger center screen, but you will also lose some daily livable items.

Orange Fury honestly. It's more of a true orange, and you get the 2026 upgrades.
