Planning for our redo trip, but got a few questions. How much is it for a passage to go (non driver). Is it $500?
Is the schedule the same no matter where you go? I found a youtube video on Vegas and sound like in the morning you drove obstacle course, then after lunch there was a trial ride.
The moab video made it sound like you go out for a trail ride all day, and there wasn't a break even a potty break. No obstacle driving.

I donā€™t know about Vegas.

Moab - itā€™s a public run (Dome Plateau). Thereā€™s a quick intro at base camp then out to the trail. You stop for lunch on the trail. Plenty of spots for pictures. Plenty of natural obstacles - nothing manmade. There are no restrooms - use a tree. It was about 6 hrs out on the trail. Dinner was back at the base camp.

Vegas - in the morning about an hour of rudimentary basics, then demonstration of fearurs of the tech, then fairly easy trails. Then unremarkable lunch followed by pretty technical terrain - but all downhill. The guide claimed that it is more technical than Moab. $350 for a non driving companion if memory serves me right. Wife wisely chose to spend them (and then some) at Tiffany's instead šŸ˜‚

I haven't been to Vegas Offroadeo but I wasn't doubting selecting to go to the Moab one for a single second and I'm in California. Signed up the girlfriend as driver and she hadn't done any real offroad driving before. They had them on 3 wheels within 15 minutes of hitting the dirt trails. We then played around on other trails in our Bronco for about 2 days and went to Arches NP and Canyonlands NP. The Switchbacks trail into Canyonlands was awesome.

I have scheduled the Vegas location in mid May. Looking forward to seeing different terrain versus Texas where I live.

We did the Moab. It was beautiful out there. We were on the trails probably 6-7 hours. You stop for lunch and get to eat in the beauty that is Moab. They set up a decent sandwich spread for us. Lots to choose from. There are no bathrooms, but plenty of secluded places you can disappear to. Moab is also the only site that is not a man made trail, according to our guide.

+1 for the Moab trip. I was the ā€œpilotā€ for the truck our guide was riding shotgun in. I had already wheeled in Moab on a few occasions and this was the real deal!

I highly recommend putting Moab on your bucket list. Itā€™s an hour of instruction then amazing trails and climbs. They said the winter trail is different than their summer trail because it is better for wet conditions. An added bonus of going during winter was that there were hardly any people around so we could take pictures/video/drone footage uninterrupted. There are breathtaking rock formations and arches all around. Additionally the road 128 (that the rodeo is on) makes many top 10 lists for most beautiful drives in the U.S. The area has been the location for many popular movies and shows. Whether you go for the rodeo or vacation there, it wonā€™t disappoint.

Did Vegas last June. Was a blast. MOAB is on my bucket list. Looks beautiful. Contemplating Texas since we have a Sport as well.

Having done the Off-Roadeo in Moab and been to Vegas countless times, Iā€™ll offer the perspective. If you want a variety of trails and scenic opportunities, go to Moab. If you want the glitz and expense of Vegas, then go there.
