Bad news, my ‘23 V6 OBX Cactus Grey was hit and damaged during transport from ATL to DEN during our recent move.

Good news, with the repairs needed, giving me a chance to personalize and modify.
Always wanted a vintage Bronco, so keeping that in mind looking for help!

Currently- Cactus grey, with body match fenders and mirrors.

- Roof has to get refinished. Going Wimbledon white. Other tips or items to consider here?
- Replace grille …… found Juggernaut Performance with a vintage inspired grille option. Other tips here??? Planning to paint Wimbledon white also
- Amber light covers? Y/ N?
- Lift 1.5 inch kit - wheels and tires??? What do I do? I do not know anything about lifts, tires, etc. I just know I like a slightly taller feel and want it to feel vintage inspired but not trying too hard.

*EDIT* - almost forgot- the windshield!!! Would you replace with factory version or go aftermarket????- something our body shop asked.
I’ll add a photo of the current damage- was the top car on the carrier…. He hit something 🫠

Excited to have some fun, but want to keep a classic look in mind without going too over the top. Also keeping in mind it’s not a vintage body so a balance will be key. Thanks for the help!
some photos I’ve been using for inspiration.

Looking great! I like the pop of the red letters on the white grill.

I went with Fifteen 52 Analog HD ET25 wheels with 285/70R17 KO2s. Just the right poke for me, but the KO2s do get a little squirrely in the rain sometimes.

Thank you to all the feedback and help here.... Finally got the wheels and tires updated:
Powder coated to color match the Wimbledon on some Sasquatch take offs and then new Nokian tires- they ride amazing!

Nice job on the grill. I did the same but with the Badlands grill and it does not look as good. Is this a Base grill and how did you accommodate the camera?

I wish Nokian made this tire in something other than and E or F load rating in the 315 or 35. I would try it.

...
I have an OBX with the high package (360 cameras). I used the grill from my Black Diamond which doesn't have the front camera. Swapping the grill required swapping the valiance behind the grill that accommodates the mount for the camera. I then used a dremel to cut out front of the grill to fit the camera. I preferred the Heritage/Black Diamond/Base grill style over the Big Bend/OBX style.

I have the OBX as well and agree on the preference for the Base Black Diamond grill. I am assuming that you had to sand off the texture of the grill to get it smooth enough for paint and then use and adhesion promoter on the plastic. Correct?

I never painted the BD grill. I was going to hold out for a Heritage grill to do a proper painting. But it's been 2 years and I've grown to like the OG BD grill.
