Vinyl or Leather

My opinion… get vinyl unless the following is important to you:

• Carpeted flooring
• Electric adjustable seats
• Rear cup holders (on 4-door)

If you hate it you can always swap out to aftermarket leather (such as Katzkin) later.

-floor mats are great nowadays and can hold a surprising amount of water
-adjustable seats are nice but need memory
-rear cup holders are must haves with kids IMO

The leather seats are mostly vinyl anyways, it's just a leather pattern vs the weird cross hatch pattern on the MGV. The rubber floors are loud AF. If you got a soft top it's kind of irrelevant, but on the hardtop the road noise is way more pronounced.

They are loud as Abercrombie and Fitch back in the day. And smell like cheap cologne too.

We have the leather in both our OBX’s. As previously mentioned it’s leather trimmed vinyl. So 85% vinyl anyway. Just use a good conditioner/ protectant and you’ll be fine. The carpet is what sucks that your forced to get with leather.

Leather adds carpets, which defeats the point of getting the badlands to me. I love MGV. Also means I don’t have to worry about rain on my seats.
