When camping, I plan on sleeping in my Bronco like I slept in my previous 4x4s.

I haven't been able to find any interior vehicle lighting product (excluding LED strips) that produces a relatively warm light, like 2500-3500 K, on a 12v circuit. All the LED interior lights for Broncos that I can find seem to be the standard cold LED lights, great for working but not so desirable IMO when you're trying to wind down before bedtime. You can find warm LED lights for other purposes but I'm not seeing them for Broncos or even other vehicles. Any ideas?

I agree about warm lights. I'd like to find an interior light that's battery operated and recharge from the Bronco electrical system. That way I could have lights with the Bronco off and not have to replace batteries all the time. It would be a plus if they also operated the way the stock interior lights operated.

I'll probably have to make my own.

I have relatively warm 120v LED night lights. I could stick one of those on the 120v outlet on my power bank. Still, it would be nice to have a light up above to give normal lighting, and not have it be jury-rigged.

I may end up using LED strips under my attic shelf. But not very elegant and would still have to power them up.

I was hoping for something built-in that operates like a standard dome light, but I may need to settle for something like that. Thanks for the link.

Try these USB rechargeable closet lights:
9 in. USB Rechargeable Silver Integrated LED Under Cabinet Light (2-Pack) https://share.google/y7FKJgbcHj7FVqdyR

They are my go to camping lights.

I’m running Rigid A series rock lights inside my bronco. They have a warm white option.

Do the USB ports stay powered on when the car is parked? If so there are tons of USB powered lighting products that come in warm white that you could use. I have a clip-on circle lamp that I use for video that would work well as a nighttime reading lamp.

I think the best bet is going to be battery-powered rechargeable lights like JJTremor linked. These can be mounted on the roll cage once we're in camp, then taken down and recharged the next day. That avoids loose wires that can be a nuisance when you're moving around, especially in the dark after you go to bed. I just need to find or figure out a mount setup where the lights can be snapped into place once we're in camp and easily removed the next morning for charging.

In that case you should have plenty of options. I carry a USB-rechargeable flashlight in my Bronco, for example. But most rechargeable lighting products you'll find on Amazon use a USB interface. Or you could use any battery-powered lighting with rechargeable batteries, with a USB battery charger powered from the Bronco. Lots of options...

These lights are magnetic and mine came with 3 metal bars that were sticky in one side so even if you put them on the MIC top or on aluminum your just stick the charged lights where you placed the metal sticky tabs. The batteries last for a long time and can be set to come on when motion is detected. You can also find these on Amazon. MCGOR 10inch Under Cabinet Lighting, 2 Pack Rechargeable Motion Sensor Light Indoor, 5 Levels Dimmable Magnetic Closet Lights, Wireless Under Counter Lights for Kitchen, Stairs - Amazon.com https://share.google/PzqApIdcuuRxbei4R. I keep several in my RSI Smartcap as additional bed lights and just move them to the outside when camping. I do the same thing in my Bronco.

I use this work light-bar attached by magnet to roll bar over the driver and pass seats - used as an extra “dome/map“ light, and move it around as needed (including out of the truck). USB charged, long lasting, and has a soft K setting.
It's no longer available at Amazon. This looks like a good light for under the hood as shown in the picture!

BTW, I had to extract and paste the link manually to use it. There's some sort of formatting problem with the posted link.
