Depending on the date of your order you may have had the updated magnetic already which would have only required a shim to be added under the magnetic. If you aren’t sure feel free to shoot a message to [email protected]

How is the evaluation of the samples going for you?
Really well! Production completed on Monday. Lights are ready. Packaging is in the works and the harnesses should be ready by the second week of December. Baring any problems, we should squeak these out before the end of the year.

Absolutely! Both video and printed instructions.
What's this shim look like? I just got mine last week and also have the factory mat, I figured out I had to tuck the lip the hard way but still a bit disappointed in holding strength.
It is a thin metal shim, basically looks like a tiny washer that is installed under the magnet itself. All of the current cupholders should have that shim pre-installed. If you wanted to double-check it, it is just one Phillips head screw to remove the magnet and check underneath it.
Any word on availability of the lights?
They are getting very close. We should have them completely ready for sale early next year and should be announcing additional information about them in the coming weeks.
