My fuel tank skid has taken on the most scuffs so far. That's in 3 off-roading sessions. As far as I know I haven't hit the front LCA's yet, but I have a really awesome spotter. Haven't hit the rear shock mounts yet either, but I do have some uninstalled skids for them. Looks like those skids will further reduce clearance, though.

When I got stuck it was also a clearance issue combined with tire issue and driver/spotter error. Slid into a deep rut on the trail, just didn't have the ground clearance to get myself out.

Just snow so far.

As for why -- not enough skinny pedal?

I seem to have an affinity for ditches on the side of the road when in the snow.

Me: "Hey, this looks like a good spot to turn around."

22 Bronco: "Kerthunk - stop!"

Front locker to the rescue!

---------

Wife: "It looks solid over there to the right"

67 Bronco: Slushy sounds as right side drops into the ditch

Me: More skinny pedal - crawled out thanks to the Detroit in the rear and momentum

So not technically stuck, but almost on both cases. This is the kind of thing that happens when a desert rat goes to play in the snow!
