After some debate, went with the N fab nerf steps. Easy "bolt right on", didn't have to modify a thing

left plenty of ground clearance

Installed Icon tie rods and the broncbuster bushing today. Alignment in the morning.

Icons were simple to install, though I wish they provided better clamps for the boot.

Followed instructions for the Broncbuster bushing, but when breaking the black plastic piece to remove it, I nicked the underlying aluminum and had to file it down a little so it didn't catch on the bushing. Careful with that step!

Got a few things done recently. Got my Rigid A Pillar lights installed, then reinstalled my RTR grille, then this past weekend installed the Havoc bender bumper.

Hit the severely rutted trails of southern California. Recent storms have made this quite challenging, but fun. The stock Badlands, once again, hit it out of the park!

I finished installing my ARB compressor under the hood. I had it in my FJ for many years and made sure to keep it before selling as they ain't cheap.

Mounted using a JCR bracket and KR Offroad coupler switch bracket; both were a pain in the butt to install as you need to blindly get wrenches in difficult spots.

Even though I put the ARB switch at the compressor I also used AUX 6 as well. This way I can make sure it's off from in the cab and also still be able to control it at the pump when using.

Haven’t seen that switch mount. I like it!

I changed the oil and taught my daughter how to change the oil In the 2.7 black diamond. Full synthetic costs 58 bucks with filter (of course!) better than the dealer which was about the same as my mortgage payment! . Only took about 45 minutes.

This weekend I added GoRhino sideboards to my 2Door MT Badlands. so much easier to get in and out of, but had to remove the rock rails. looking good!

It's actually a project I have been working on for a long time, but finally finished. I made my own leather shift boot (on the right) to replace the ugly stock one.
