Slapped a Black Diamond Grill on my Badlands!
Untitled design.png
Was there no issue with the camera mounted in the grill from the Badlands? Or did you already have a camera relocation because of the winch?

Edit: Nevermind, I zoomed into your photos to see the camera relocation.

Added this door bag from Bartact. Perfect spot for my .45 or 9

That bag looks great - Do you find it sticks out too far and interferes with your leg? Also, how does it attach? It doesn't look like it's flopping around like a wet noodle and seems pretty secure.

Thanks!

Thanks. Doesn't stick out more than a few inches, so it doesn't get in the way at all.
It attaches with the OEM screws. I just took out the screws and attached it over the OEM netting. It's very snug and doesn't flop around at all. I'm very happy with it.

Took the little pony on a round up & cattle drive. A few of the neighbor's cows got out, so KRAKEN & I took off and guided them back across the "fence", which is not really much of a fence. Performance was on par with a fine cutting horse.

Does it have enough give to get a water bottle in there still? (between the door and bag)

I think you could slide a smaller bottle down in there. Might be a little tight for that.

Tested the air compressor in preparation for Uwharrie this weekend. Also unlocked Rock Crawl for my Wildtrak.
Manual sway bar disconnect won't be in on time to install though 😔

Which disconnects did you go with?

I love my Antirock sway bar.

Did the PLM ones. Thought they'd arrive quicker than the ac fab but not the case.
Do you feel a lot of body roll? I do a ton of highway driving so I had my reservations about the antirock

Nope. Body roll is minimal, completely acceptable for a SUV. I have the OEM rear sway bar.

Last week, swapped on Falken WP AT3Ws.

Yesterday, Swapped in the All Weather Floor Liners. Replaced the LP9’s Relays with fresh ones; liberally applied electrical sealant to avoid moisture intrusion, freeze up, and corrosion.

Today, Purchased a Turbosmart VR19 and the Steeda Clutch Spring.

They’ve been my favourite AT tire to run year round in Manitoba. The KO2s tend to bite the gravel just a tad more, where as the Falkens stay more pliable at lower temperatures (it’s really noticeable at -25°c to -40°C), have more consistent performance over time and have better wear characteristics overall. I’ve yet to try these in deep snow, where I bottom the frame/skids out… but I expect them to be better than the KO2s with the choppier lug design

That being said, I’ve heard that the Falkens aren’t a great tire to rock crawl with, but that’s outside the intended scope of use for my rig.

As a side thought, the Cooper Snow Claw has piqued my interest as a studdable non-directional winter tire that comes in a 33”. Maybe next time
