A dealer's allocation in some part is a ratio of their converted orders... so if more people transfer to a dealer and convert, that dealer's allocations increase.I’m really interested to see how it plays out for all of the people that switched to Grainger etc - seemed like a metric ton of people switched to them. Can’t imagine they got that kind of allocation
Short answer: Yes.Still unclear how this works.
How does reservation stamp line up with dealer allocation queue?
If the order and build is based on your original reservation stamp (and parts availability) then what happens if someone with an earlier order than you switches to your dealer?
If my dealer tells me I'm #50 on reservation stamps and they are allocated 52 but within the next week, three guys that reserved 12 hours before me switch to this dealer, does that mean I have been pushed to #53 out of 52?
I reserved on 8/7. Glad to see someone else with a later res date, I was starting to think I was the only one...cheersSo I have read trough a lot of these kind of threads about what day your res is and have noticed most of all the responses have been the 1ST or 2nd day. My res is Aug 20TH. Anyone else with a later res ?? Dealer has sent me an e-mail but I have not received one from Ford yet. I asked if he had any allocations and said he would have to find out. It reminds me of Heinz .......
Not to worried it's not March, yet.
Plus now you can build a nicer garage! It hurt me too haha. But house comes first and gives me more time to possibly just pay cash for the Bronco
