I have the chance to trade my FE bronco for an
F-150 raptor and $3000 out of pocket. What would you do?

Depends on what you want & what you need. They are not even remotely comparable vehicles.

looks like you have a 3/4 ton pick up already per your info, why get an additional half ton? Be a lot of overlap, keep the Bronco.

Not much detail on the Raptor you're looking at.

I own a BD, so not really comparable to the FE. Can't say what all your giving up.

I also own a Gen 1 (2014) Raptor and there is nothing on the market I would give it up for. I had several offers from dealers to purchase it as I looked for a Bronco and let each one know it wasn't for sale.

@Felix808 is right though. Really depends on what you're hoping to use it for. I can't throw the top back on the Raptor. Nor does it fill well in parking lots. But it has it's own it's own advantages that the Bronco can't touch. (V8 growl, a bed to haul things, a 6.2L engine to tow with, a suspension that is unmatched in the common Bronco packages, etc).

Guess it's obvious where I fall. The Bronco is my daily commuter, but I'd sell it for the right price. The Raptor is my go to toy and it's not for sale at any price.

So full disclosure my wife has a wrangler and my other car the top comes off so 3 open air vehicles including the bronco. The raptor is 801a with the full moon roof and carbon package. I truly think installing the doors on the bronco and is a massive pain in the ass and not worth it compared to the wrangler.

I agree both are completely different, I actually got talked into having my FE built. I wanted to parlay it until the braptor was available. I was willing to gamble my early res would earn me a braptor. I’m real big on seat comfort and the way the vehicle goes down the road. The bronco goes down the road nicely and the seats are comfy. It could be a little easier on the bumps.

I’d make the swap for a F-150 Raptor if I were in your shoes. I really like the way a Raptor drives. If I were contemplating trading my manual transmission Bronco it would be a harder choice for me.

Keep the Bronco, trade the wife's Wrangler for a Gladiator. If you do it while she is not looking, and get the same color, she won't even notice while driving until she can't get into same short parking spots -

I would never trade a Manual Bronco for a Raptor.
If I was already stuck with an auto-magic transmission, swapping to the Raptor would be an easy decision.
