Looking for help to find the control for the overhead ambient lighting. I found the ambient setting, which only controls the footwell lighting (in my Bronco).

The LEDs from the overhead console stay on except when power is off.

my map lights are on all the time as well. Haven't found a way to turn them off. Honestly doesn't bother me after getting used to them. But if I could turn them off, I would.

I don't think there is a dimmer for those. I thought they might be attached to the gauge lights, but they don't change when adjusting. This is off subject, but would you mind taking a picture of your floor lights? I am trying to find where they are located so I can see if the wiring harness is there on my Bronco.

Gotta start somewhere
not the lights I'm asking about...but thanks anyway. Take a look at the picture inserted in my post...the blue LEDs are on.

I also tried the gauge lights dimmer, but no bueno.

Next time I'm out to the Bronco I'll try to take a picture for you.

Those do not dim/turn off. They are meant to slightly illuminate the center console area at night.
Exactly it is to help see the center console at night. European cars have had it for over 20 years. Usual it is red to keep your night vision.
