From my understanding, the larger second number is for the scheduled batch, which can sometimes encompass a week or two of builds. Also the bronco shares assembly lines with the ranger so maybe they have incorporated a batch of rangers in your build week. I am not sure why some are different, smaller or bigger. Again, my understanding is the rotation number, the big printed number next to the blend date is the important number for the factory workers as they go sequentially 0001 to 9999

Not necessarily they are building 10,000 a month so what your build date shows then that is your place in line that day.
