Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

Thanks for the replies guys. My brothers 2026 Badlands 4dr SAS arrived at the dealer, stop sale due to the recall. They had a 24 Wildtrak with only 22k miles on her and the top was cracked on the side window.

Does everyone have the grey modular tops unpainted. Painted does not crack. The cracks mostly form on the rear windows near the glass. Mine appeared at 30k

None on my ‘22 4-dr. 70k miles, a good portion of which are offroad. Mostly kept outside. -20s to 110s, F. I throw downed trees on the roof to bring to camp and generally treat it like a truck bed

There’s really no rhyme or reason as to why they do, apparently, but I’m convinced they will all develop cracks. I was sure I dodged the bullet. Mine is low mileage, garaged when not in use, and has a few small cracks. Now, if I sent my wife or son out to find them, they probably wouldn’t. I didn’t take mine in to the dealer because I didn’t want to get a worse top.

The top should be a lot more durable than it is. Even the reported small failure rate should be unacceptable to Ford.

2021 2 door MIC, garaged usually, 28 K all good. And I think the MIC looks great with A51.

My '21 2-DR with 11,572 on the clock, and always garage kept, has no cracks IF VIEWED FROM STREET LEVEL. Take the top off, or look down from above with a ladder, there are 38 cracks above the passenger side window.

23 two door 23k miles - no cracks.

I park in the garage at home, but it sits outside in all weather at work.

Has been hailed on to the point that the truck spent a week in the body shop. No damage to the top, though.

OP Question: Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

On my 24 2 door before I sold it, it had spider webbing cracks.

2022 base 2door with 50k miles that I bought back from USAA after being totaled (post here to read) and a 2024 OBX more door with 15k miles in our house. Neither have any cracks. If either does crack I’ll be doing as someone else said here, pro linex and moving on Neither are garaged and we live in the Florida soup
