Not coming on the Bronco?

Bronco will have OTA updates, doesn't need the hotspot for that. I don't understand paying for a hotspot in your car when you already have a phone for it with the provider of your choice. My Wife's acura I can connect to my home wifi and it will download updates that way.
Yeah, I haven't really dug into the reasons for connecting the acura to my home wifi. I'm guessing there is something that it can do for free that way, as opposed to buying a data plan for the car. Someone was just asking why does a car need wifi and I was just assuming he was not talking About a hot spot.Bronco will have OTA updates, doesn't need the hotspot for that. You can do that with your ford pass accountI generally agree with you, I dont plan to activate my plan either.
but for sake of knowing, the one feature a mobile plan for the car enables is remote lock/unlock/start beyond the range of the keyfob.
I dont really care too much about that either, but some might.
You don't need a mobile data connection/plan to use FordPass lock/unlock/remote start.the car needs a mobile data connection though, unless it is provided gratis by ford?
