How old is the battery? Reason I ask is I've had a couple of non-Bronco vehicles that did squirrelly things as the battery got low...

As @michelle227 said, this happens when your battery gets lower on the charge. It does it to help save battery life.

I have several Ford vehicles, and it has happened to all of them if the vehicle sits for a while, or the battery is starting to get low on charge.

It's 100% based upon your battery's state of charge. Either go for a long drive or put a charger on it for a few hours. If that doesn't help you need a new battery.

Means your battery is about to die. Get a new one.

A weak battery is usually the first suspect It doesn’t have to be a low battery though. There must be some kind of timer for days without a start. Both my 24 Bronco and my 20 F350 often sit for weeks at a time. Both are plugged into NOCO Genius 10s. When I went to Norway for 2 weeks both vehicles gave me remote features disable in Fordpass.

You are right, there is a timer regardless of voltage for inactivity - somewhere around 10-14 days

Ford Bronco why? Remote Features Disabling 1000006944

Your battery will appreciate it. Just be sure to use AGM mode.
