Will you get a front license plate install by default?

I don't like the default location installed by the Ford.

Is that possible to put this into the build note?

Will it be easy to move the front license plate later?
Or there will be a marking drill leftover

No.
Yes (dealer will receive the front bracket - tell them not to install).
Probably.

(there are lots of threads on this very topic...)

It’s a dealer installed part. Tell your dealer not to install it if you don’t like it.

Nope.

@HBTFD made a great front license plate mount that connects to the three bolts on the lower part of the modular bumper, and that’s what I’m going with.

I’ll ask the dealership not to install the factory front mount. As well as no dealership stickers or license plate frames.
The capable bumper loses this, just 1 more thing to remember when we re-order next month

No 2nd plate required here, but on a few of my vehicles, I ordered custom plates for the front. I had RAPTOR in orange letters on the Raptor, TREMOR in red letters on my 14 F-150 Tremor and LINCOLN on my 12 MKT.

Yes, true. I’m still planning on ordering the modular bumper, no matter if it’s for a MY21 or MY22. I’m sure there will be lots of relocation options in the coming months :)

LINCOLN on my 12 MKT.
Sorry this won't come off well but I'm gonna do it anyway... why? The flex was the better car by far. The mkt was a flex with questionable design and a useless 3rd row. At least the flex only had a questionable design. Throw a titanium appearance package on it, or in later years the appearance package, and you had a Range Rover two tone style station wagon with the 3.5 ecoboost. The mkt never lived up to the Ford it was built on. Who makes a premium car with less space than the model it's built on?

I looked at the Flex and it wasn't for me. I liked the weird sinister look of the MKT. It was a nice car. The only issue it had was the moonroof would jam when trying to open. You needed to push on it it to get it started and it was fine. Of course, when driving, that required 3 hands. You have no idea how hot that glass gets here in Arizona. Dealer tried fixing it several times, but never fully succeeded. I kept it a couple of years and traded it on a 14 Mustang GT.

Just found out from my dealer that the front license plate bracket is installed at the factory. So if it's on your order then it gets installed whether you like it or not. I thought it was a dealer installed item. The bracket is on my order which has been scheduled. Now I guess I'm stuck with it. I'm super unhappy about this. Check your orders and make sure the bracket isn't on there!

I have front licence plate bracket in the order preview.

Do you think the factory is the one who will install this?
