Windshield wiper optical sensor? With pictures

this is probably old news,

Washing my truck I saw this glare in the sunshine it’s lined up for the very tip of the passenger side wiper blade anybody know what it is?

Should be a mark on the windshield to align the blade arm if removed. Being that area is already painted black on the Bronco, looks like the color is just missing in that location to form the line. What you see inside might be part of the dash assembly?

It looks like glass or clear plastic behind the windshield in that area it actually has a little Ford logo on it. That whole area is black and the small narrow rectangle is perfectly formed.
