Has anyone gone to change their blades out yet? I just got a pair of the Rain X blades, and I almost feel like I need an engineering degree to put them on. The wiper arms have a new style attachment point that I have t seen before. Just wanted to know if anyone had success replacing theirs, or if I should just get them from the dealer 🤷🏻‍♂️

Put on Rain X Latitudes a few weeks ago. I agree, there were so many universal attachment pieces that needed to be removed for it to be compatible. Glad I didn't toss the instructions after I opened it. Unfortunately they only attach to the arm in two spots versus three from the factory wiper, but seemingly snug. Not overly concerned, but I am keeping my OEMs under the seat for a couple months lol

I also have yet to find a rear aftermarket blade. Just kept the factory on there and will deal with it later.

Thanks for the heads up Jaruss, on the third attachment point. That’s what was baffling me. I’ll try to put them on again later this afternoon. 😎👍🏻

I've changed mine and as always you have to make sure you buy a blade with compatibility and use the correct attachment. I've bought blade in the past and realized later that it didn't contain compatible attachments and had to take them back. So check the manufacturers recommendation for which blade to use

Essex.

Yeah - they snap into the top and bottom hooks when you slide it on (as you expect) I guess you could count that as one attachment point not two. They do not attach into the slot on the face of the arm like the OEM blade. But between them locked into place and the housing hugging the arm, they seem well attached.

I had the dealer replace mine recently. They used a better wiper than what came on the vehicle. I'm pleased so far.

I just bought some Bosch icons. They have a specific part number for the style the Bronco has. It should be a 17OE. They went right on.
Good information, I'll go with the Bosch icons. Where did you get them- on line only?

Why such an intricate design on the darn wipers? Wipers have been around forever. Another way Ford wants you to go the dealer and pay $100 for wipers. Or are all the wipers for it $100 LOL.......

I just did Motorcraft ones off Amazon and they installed in seconds. The OG ones lasted 2 years which is fine to me.

Some years ago, I bought the Icons.
AWESOME wipers.
Bought another set two years later to replace them ....absolute garbage.
As much as they cost, I am unwilling to roll the dice on them again if they are not consistent.

I think the highest end Trico have done well by me.
Trico Onyx at Carquest.
They use different model names depending on what part store you go to.

NAPA branded wipers were horrible.
One and done with them as well.
