I bought Motorcraft units and they work well.

I do not assume they’re the same as the ones that come on a new Bronco.

If you take some alcohol wipes and run them over the rubber parts of the blades you will remove all sorts of filth and the wipers will last longer.

Noticed when the wipers I ordered for the 2 series came in, it's the exact same connection system as on the BMW, threw one of the old Icons on there to verify, fit like a glove

Has anyone replaced their wipers yet? If so, what which kind did you go with?
I just got a good set, took the rubber out from the new ones and replaced them back I to the stock wipers. I couldn't find ones that fit, the Ford dealer didn't even stock them yet. So I improvised, and it worked perfectly.

I need to find silicone wiper blades. I've always had so much more success and longevity with silicone blades.

I'm 9,350 miles and a year and a half since ownership and my factory blades are working well. I clean the blades with every wash in the summer and a handful of times in the winter.

I’m also looking for a silicone replacement. I had a protective film put on my windshield and my detail guy recommends silicone. Anybody know of a silicone blade that will fit?

I was happy with the factory blades, so when they wore out (streaking and chattering) I had the dealer service dept replace them when I went in for an oil change and tire rotation.
They work just like new again, lol.

I threw on some Tricos because I wanted to go smaller 15". I did this to reduce the resistance, but I also like the smaller blades - somehow it just looks cooler and as my wife said "utilitarian" ;)

….and a little off topic, but a PSA:

If/when you need to remove the wiper arms, you’ll need a two- or three-arm puller.

for those interested, I ended up buying these off of Amazon (specifically needed silicone blades due to a protective film):

PEAK Silicone Plus Windshield Wiper Blade, 17-Inch (Pack of 1) https://a.co/d/aGSLwTB

They installed easily with the adapters provided and were a perfect size match for the OEM blades. Haven’t had a chance to put them to use yet but will report back if they suck.
